1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By enrolling in, accessing, or using the Start Your Dream Business (SYDB) Course (the "Course") through any of our offerings—B4|BUILD, B4|BLOOM, or B4|BLUEPRINT (collectively, the "Programs")—you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Course materials.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Student," "you," or "your") and B4 - Bare Bones Business Basics, LLC ("B4," "we," "us," or "our").



2. COURSE ACCESS AND ENROLLMENT

2.1 Access Period

  • B4|BUILD Members: Access to the Course is provided for the duration of your active membership (monthly or annual subscription)

  • B4|BLOOM Participants: Access to the Course is provided for 6 months from the date of enrollment with an option to extend

  • B4|BLUEPRINT Clients: Access to the Course is provided for 12 months from the date of enrollment with an option to extend

2.2 Account Credentials

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials. You agree to:

  • Use a secure password

  • Not share your login credentials with others

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

2.3 Platform Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you have:

  • A reliable internet connection

  • Compatible devices and browsers

  • Updated software necessary to access Course materials



3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

3.1 Ownership

All Course materials, including but not limited to:

  • Video lectures and recorded content

  • Worksheets, templates, and workbooks

  • E-books and written materials

  • Graphics, logos, and branding elements

  • Audio content and transcripts

  • Software, tools, and resources

  • Community discussion content created by B4

are the exclusive intellectual property of B4 - Bare Bones Business Basics, LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

3.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Course materials solely for your personal, non-commercial use as an enrolled student. This license does not include the right to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or duplicate Course materials (except for personal notes)

  • Sell, resell, rent, lease, or sublicense Course content

  • Distribute, publicly display, or publicly perform Course materials

  • Create derivative works based on Course content

  • Use Course materials to create competing products or services

  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

3.3 Strictly Prohibited Actions

You may NOT:

  • Screen record, download, or capture video content

  • Share login credentials with others

  • Upload Course materials to file-sharing sites or platforms

  • Use Course content to teach, coach, or consult others without written permission

  • Incorporate B4 methodologies, frameworks, or materials into your own courses or programs without a licensing agreement

Violations of these intellectual property provisions may result in immediate termination of access and legal action.

4. PERMITTED USE

You MAY:

  • Stream and view video content for personal learning

  • Download worksheets and templates for your own business use

  • Take personal notes and create your own summaries

  • Implement the strategies and frameworks in your own business

  • Reference B4 as the source of your education when appropriate



5. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

5.1 Private Community Access

Enrollment in certain Programs includes access to private online communities (B4|BUILD Society, B4|BLOOM Society). Participation requires adherence to our Community Guidelines.

5.2 Expected Conduct

You agree to:

  • Treat all members with respect and professionalism

  • Maintain confidentiality of other members' shared information

  • Refrain from promotional activities without explicit permission

  • Contribute constructively to discussions

  • Report violations to B4 administrators

5.3 Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Harass, bully, or discriminate against other members

  • Share spam, promotional content, or solicitations

  • Distribute others' intellectual property without permission

  • Engage in illegal activities or promote harmful content

  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

Violation of Community Guidelines may result in removal from the community and/or termination of Course access.

6. PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY

6.1 Payment Terms

  • B4|BUILD: Recurring monthly payments of $97 or annual payment of $997

  • B4|BLOOM: One-time payment of $2,997

  • B4|BLUEPRINT: One-time payment of $7,497

All prices are in U.S. Dollars and are subject to change with notice to current members.

6.2 Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS ARE PROVIDED for the SYDB Course or any of the Programs (B4|BUILD, B4|BLOOM, B4|BLUEPRINT).

The value of the Course is accessible immediately upon enrollment. Since implementation and results depend on YOUR effort and application of the material, we do not offer guarantees or refunds.

Even partial implementation of the Course framework provides tremendous value. We encourage you to email info@b4businessbasics.com PRIOR TO ENROLLMENT if you have questions.

6.3 Subscription Cancellation (B4|BUILD Only)

  • Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

  • No refunds for partial months

  • Access continues until the end of the paid period

  • To cancel, email info@b4businessbasics.com with "Cancellation Request" in the subject line

6.4 Payment Disputes

If you dispute a charge with your credit card company or payment processor, your access to the Course and all B4 services will be immediately suspended pending resolution.



7. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

7.1 Educational Nature

The SYDB Course provides business education and is not:

  • Legal advice (consult an attorney for legal matters)

  • Financial advice (consult a financial advisor for financial planning)

  • Tax advice (consult a tax professional for tax matters)

  • Accounting advice (consult an accountant for bookkeeping and financial reporting)

7.2 No Guarantee of Results

IMPORTANT: While we provide comprehensive education and proven frameworks, we make NO GUARANTEES regarding:

  • Business success or profitability

  • Income generation or revenue amounts

  • Speed of results or implementation

  • Specific outcomes or achievements

Your results depend entirely on your own effort, dedication, market conditions, business model, execution, and numerous other factors beyond our control.

7.3 Testimonials and Case Studies

Any testimonials, case studies, or success stories represent individual experiences and are not guarantees of similar results. Individual results will vary based on personal circumstances, market conditions, and implementation.

7.4 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

B4 - Bare Bones Business Basics, LLC, its owner, employees, contractors, and affiliates SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities

  • Costs of substitute services

  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Course

  • Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in Course content

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Course shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Program in which you enrolled.

7.5 Content Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate, current, and helpful information:

  • Course content is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind

  • We do not warrant that Course materials are error-free or complete

  • Business laws, regulations, and best practices change; you are responsible for verifying current requirements

  • We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove Course content at any time



8. MODIFICATION OF COURSE CONTENT

We reserve the right to:

  • Update, modify, or remove Course content at any time

  • Add new materials or modules

  • Reorganize Course structure

  • Improve existing content based on student feedback

  • Correct errors or outdated information

Substantial improvements or additions will generally be made available to current students at no additional charge, though we reserve the right to offer advanced content as separate offerings.



9. TERMINATION

9.1 Termination by Student

You may terminate your access by:

  • Cancelling your B4|BUILD subscription (access continues through paid period)

  • Ceasing to use B4|BLOOM or B4|BLUEPRINT Course access after your access period expires

  • Sending written notice to info@b4businessbasics.com

9.2 Termination by B4

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Breach of these Terms of Use

  • Violation of intellectual property rights

  • Fraudulent or illegal activity

  • Abusive behavior toward B4 staff or community members

  • Chargebacks or payment disputes

  • Sharing login credentials

  • Any conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to B4, other students, or our business

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your license to access Course materials immediately ends

  • You must cease all use of Course materials

  • You must delete any downloaded materials

  • No refunds will be provided

  • Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive



10. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Course, you consent to our Privacy Policy.

We collect:

  • Contact information (name, email, phone)

  • Payment information

  • Course progress and engagement data

  • Communication preferences

  • Feedback and survey responses

We use this information to:

  • Provide Course access and support

  • Improve Course content and delivery

  • Communicate important updates

  • Send relevant marketing (with option to unsubscribe)

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.



11. COMMUNICATIONS

11.1 Course-Related Communications

By enrolling, you consent to receive:

  • Course access and login information

  • Important updates about Course content or platform

  • Technical notices and security alerts

  • Responses to your support requests

11.2 Marketing Communications

You may also receive:

  • Newsletters and educational content

  • Information about new products and services

  • Special offers and promotions

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by:

  • Clicking "unsubscribe" in any email

  • Emailing info@b4businessbasics.com with your request

  • Updating your communication preferences in your account

Note: You cannot opt out of essential Course-related communications while you have active access.



12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

12.1 Third-Party Platforms

The Course may be delivered through third-party learning management systems or platforms. Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

12.2 External Links

Course materials may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or tools. These links are provided for your convenience only. We:

  • Do not endorse or warrant third-party content

  • Are not responsible for third-party services or their availability

  • Have no control over third-party privacy practices

  • Are not liable for any damages arising from your use of third-party resources

12.3 Recommended Tools

We may recommend specific tools, software, or services. These recommendations are based on our experience and are not compensated endorsements unless explicitly stated. You are responsible for evaluating and purchasing any third-party tools at your own discretion.

13. GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTIONS

13.1 U.S.-Focused Content

The SYDB Course is designed primarily for entrepreneurs operating businesses in the United States. While the general business principles apply universally, specific modules covering:

  • Business registration and legal structures

  • Tax requirements and considerations

  • Regulatory compliance

  • Funding sources

are centered around U.S. laws and practices.

13.2 International Students

International students are welcome to enroll with the understanding that:

  • Not all content will apply to their jurisdiction

  • They are responsible for researching their local requirements

  • Many foundational concepts remain applicable globally

  • No refunds are provided based on geographic relevance



14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

14.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at info@b4businessbasics.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Provide a detailed description of the issue and your desired resolution.

14.2 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Course shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Portland, Oregon, or via video conference.

You and B4 agree to arbitrate on an individual basis. Class arbitrations and class actions are not permitted.

14.3 Exception for Intellectual Property Claims

B4 may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect its intellectual property rights without first engaging in arbitration.

14.4 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.



15. GENERAL PROVISIONS

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any Program-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and B4 regarding the SYDB Course and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

15.2 Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active students via email and/or prominent notice on our website. Continued use of the Course after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable. If modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15.4 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of B4.

15.5 Assignment

You may not assign, transfer, or delegate your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

15.6 Force Majeure

B4 shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or internet service failures.

15.7 Survival

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to: Intellectual Property Rights, Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability, Dispute Resolution, and General Provisions.

18. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

BY ENROLLING IN THE SYDB COURSE THROUGH ANY OF OUR PROGRAMS (B4|BUILD, B4|BLOOM, OR B4|BLUEPRINT), YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT:
